The song after Dam That River. Did it rain when Layne died? No idea sadly, but oh well. Anyway, Jerry wrote this. Quite long but manages to keep your attention. Great.
Yes it is. this is my last underrated song from the 3 main albums. I'll still post all the songs I have, Starting with We Die Young (its the 1st song off album 1 and im going chronilogically). C U THERE!!!
A fan fav this 1. sum1 on 1 of my vids said a while back this was his fave and he has a point. 1 of their longest and all the better 4 it. although my fav is still 2 come...
pretty gud. This track is listed as track 9 on the album buts its actually track 10 as theres an unlisted track called Iron Gland which takes the piss out of Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Who said they had no sense of humour?!
Quite good. Compared 2 the other songs from Facelift, its very mature, which shows that even back then, they had great versitility. BTW Jerry's dog was called Sunshine, and they put the dog on the cover of Tripod.
Thanks 2 eddied29 4 requesting this. i was gonna post it ne way but i decided 2 do it now and jump the gun sumwat. anyway, quite a gud song. not my fav personally, but still great.
I uploaded the live song yesterday so I thought I'd upload the studio song as well. One of the two songs from the Arnie film "Last Action Hero". The other song was What The Hell Have I.
Moving on to Dirt now, their most famous album. Im posting this because it didn't get enough recognition in my view and of course, the whole point of my vids is to post forgetten AIC songs. This was written because Sean Kinney and Jerry had a fight and Jerry wrote it as revenge. Dont worry, they made up obviously.
Brilliant. Quite slow paced but this merely shows Alice's versitility. Layne sounds great and the band managed to write a brilliant piece of songwriting.
Unusual again but excellent. Mike Starr, the bassist, actually sings backing vocals on this, whereas Jerry just played lead guitar. This adds something different to the song, and fans will like listening to Mike step up.
