Time Lapse view of clouds over the Melbourne, FL area. As soon as the Hurricane Season is over, I plan on heading to the beach, rivers, and lake for more time lapse footage.
Slide show of the Monarch butterfly from egg to adult. These Monarchs lay their eggs on Scarlet Milkweed plants. By ingesting the plant, they become toxic to predators.
Time-lapse close up of Monarch caterpillar pupating and later the butterfly braking out of its chrysalis. Notice how the wings expand as the belly fluids are pumped into them. Save a Monarch, grow a Milkweed!
Examples of light pollution from where I live in East Central Florida verses the dark skies over Arizona. The Big Dipper was photographed using a 50mm lens at f/1.8 and 10 second exposures. The red flashes are from car lights.
Montezumas Castle near Camp Verde, Arizona. The Sinagua farmed beside Beaver Creek, and lived in their large villages for 300 years. Sometime in the 1400s, they mysteriously began to leave. Recorded on December 28, 2005
Collection of launch photos from both NASA and myself taken over several years. The majority of pictures were taken from my own back yard. The day time photos were taken at Cocoa Beach, FL. Pay close attention to the clouds during the timelapse sequence to see the swirling smoke from one of the shuttle launches.
I recorded my Amaryllis flower with my Canon Power Shot Pro for 2 days taking 1 photo every 30 minutes to an hour during daylight hours.
This is my first attempt at making a time lapse video.
