This one's clever. Capitalizing on the arcade game craze, TBS' close for Braves telecasts spoofed Pac-Man by showing a baseball going 'round the maze and devouring ghosts. The music's really good - a nice dramatic theme. Note the plug for CNN - and its new sister network, CNN2, a clever way to get publicity for the then-fledgling service

On August 4, 1984, three weeks after "Black Saturday", NWA Wrestling returned to WTBS in an early morning time slot. These are the opening moments of that show. Note that despite the huge changes, Ole and Solie act as though nothing has happened, making the decision to ignore the controversy and move forward.

My open to Bill Tush's comedy program on WTBS, produced by Bonnie and Terry Turner and starring a cast of very talented folks. The postcards and background photos from the open are actually all from my collection (I still have most of them), and were my shout out to friends near and far (the preponderance of Ohio images in an open from Atlanta is one clue.)
