Russian animation from Wladyslaw Starewicz, 1913.
The title is a bit misleading as the Russian word c???????/strekoza means dragonfly yet the story is clearly about a grasshopper, which in Russian is ????e???/kuznechik. Nevertheless it is interesting animation from almost a century ago.

Black and white stop motion animation shot on 16mm film. I made this in college for an animation class. The soundtrack is something I created for an electronic music class. Inspired by early experimental films of David Lynch, plus the works of classic animators like Jan Svankmeijer and Wladyslaw Starewicz.
