Me noodling through my Peavey Valve King 212 with Eminence Man-O-War speakers. I was unhappy with the harsh, brash sound of the amp until I put a Boss GE-7 EQ in the effects loop and cut 1.6K almost completely. It really smoothed out the tone quite a bit and is a lot closer to the Marshall sound I like. I am playing my Epiphone Les Paul Studio with Gibson Burstbucker PRO pickups.
