The New Mexico-born, New York-based Raul Mid�n makes his recording debut with State of Mind, on Manhattan Records. The 13 song collection of Mid�n originals is a mix of soul, RB, pop, folk, jazz and Latin. Mid�n, who has been blind since birth and is the son of an African American mother and an Argentinean father, lists such musical influences as Stevie Wonder, Richie Havens,and Jose Feliciano.
