I met these young Iranian Metal enthusiasts at a public park in the mountains above Tehran. My friend Jesse and I talk with them about religion, music and culture. Even though there was quite a bit of a language barrier, we had fun relating to each other. I liked these guys. Before I started filming they were playing some favorite songs for me through their mp3 players.

The group was forced to flee Baghdad during the war.
And though they're now seeking refugee status in Turkey, their ultimate goal is to jam back home.
