In these clips provided by the Phantom Editor, 1983 George Lucas tells us about "fatal mistakes" sci-fi filmmakers can/do make. In 2002, he explains how he was able to blatantly violate his own rule and execute the fatal mistake he discussed in 1983. Oh the irony.

He's no fan of R2D2 flying in Attack of the Clones, even though Lucas insists it was something he wanted to do in the original trilogy, but was unable to execute the special effect for. The Phantom Editor has a little fun at Lucas' expense with this clip and R2 believing he can fly.
